Protect Yourself

It may seem like I am over stressing the security aspect of your computers. The potential for problems is increasing dramatically. Yet few people pay attention to what it takes to make their systems secure. This becomes all the more important with the increased use of internet.

Even if you do not have a broadband connection, you can still run into problems. Smart hackers scan for anything that will respond. Once they identify a system with weaknesses, they can deposit a program that ‘phones home’ to identify you even if your internet connection changes!

There is no reason for apathy about protecting yourself. It is not that hard to take care of your computer.
