Leonids Meteor Shower - November 18, 2001The following are photographs taken the evening of November 18, 2001. The actual meteor shower was excellent. Between 3 and 5 AM CST, there were easily visible meteors every few seconds. We were set up about 20 miles to the west of Minneapolis. The only problem that we really had was lights from an incredible volume of early morning traffic.
The following was a nice photograph of the evening sky. No meteors. You can clearly see Orion's belt.
